Window Tamer is shareware. A lot of effort has gone into its development, so after ten windows with unregistered copy, Window Tamer will present a reminder asking you to pay for your shareware. Clicking the OK button will allow you to continue to use Window Tamer. If you find Window Tamer is useful, please support shareware and register.
The registration fee for Window Tamer is US $10 for a single user. A site license costs US $250 and allows an unlimited number of people to use Window Tamer at your location. A US $1000 World-Wide license covers all of your locations on the planet earth or beyond.
Payments are handled by a popular payment processing company called Kagi.
Secure online registration will be available in the near future; a link to the online registration site will appear on the Window Tamer Web Page. The currently supported way of registering is to use the Register application, located in your Window Tamer Distribution folder.
Open the Register program. Enter your name, your e-mail address, and the number of single user licenses you desire for each program you wish to purchase (or Site or World-Wide licenses). Follow the instructions below that correspond to your form of payment. Please note that your credit card information will be scrambled to prevent casual inspection.
If you are paying with a Credit Card or by First Virtual, you have one of the following four options:
Payments sent via e-mail are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will receive an e-mail acknowledgment when it is processed. Payments sent via fax take up to 10 days and if you provide a correct internet e-mail address you will receive an e-mail acknowledgment.
If you are paying with Cash or USD Check, Print the data using the Register application and send it along with your payment to the following address:
Kagi
1442-A Walnut Street #392-1U3
Berkeley, California 94709-1405
USA
You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries but at present if you pay via check, it must be a check drawn in US Dollars. Kagi cannot accept checks in other currencies, the conversion rate for non-USD checks is around USD 15 per check and that is just not practical.
If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data into the Register program and then select Invoice as your payment method. Print three copies of the form and send it to your accounts payable people. You might want to highlight the line that mentions that they must include a copy of the form with their payment. Kagi cannot invoice your company, you need to act on my behalf and generate the invoice and handle all the paperwork on your end.
Please do not fax or e-mail payment forms that indicate Cash, Check or Invoice as the payment method. As far as we know, there is still no technology to transfer physical objects via fax or e-mail and without the payment, the form cannot be processed.
Payments send via postal mail take time to reach Kagi and then up to 10 days for processing. Again, if you include a correct e-mail address, you will hear from Kagi when the form is processed.
Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an e-mail message with your registration code. Please see the section on entering your registration code for information regarding how to enter this code.
